About Me
Since the original Nintendo years, I've been fascinated by the video game experience. Dreaming of how I too can create something which has a massive, lasting appeal. I believed at that time that making games was reserved for an elite group of professionals. It was Quake and Valve's worldcraft which opened my eyes to truly passionate amateurs who rivaled the quality and innovation of the games they modified. Once I got a taste for creation, I've been hooked ever since. I'm constantly evaluating and redefining current games by studying their successes and failures.
Joe Andronyk and I started modding the Unreal engine under the pseudonym The Enlightened Souls ever since its first release. We released three of the five projects we worked on which spans the various Unreal Engine generations. We entered the 2004 $1,000,000 nVIDIA Make Something Unreal Contest and placed 5th with Devious Traps under the game type category. After sampling game design and creation, I have decided to make a career out of my hobby by studying at Vancouver Film School and entering the industry as a modeler. My aspirations are to one day become an art director for an award winning game franchise.
Finding myself drawn to the creative flow, my friends and I have also tried our hand at amateur film making under the name of Full Moon Studios. February of 2008 we released Norm McCoy is the Real McCoy in The Last True American Karate Hero - Episode 5, Caucasian Invasion: Overseas/Undercovers which we filmed completely on location in Japan at the start of 2005. We are currently editing a new post-apocalyptic action short by the name of From The Ashes which we filmed in the summer of 2007 & editing another comedic short entitled "3's A Crowd" which we shot in the summer of 2008. We recently filmed "Born Of Dusk" this past summer and I now officially have too much on my editing plate! :-p
