Got displacement working for the Rancor.
Finished the final refinements on my webpage. I got some more shading prototyping for the Rancor.
Finished my new website layout. I also did some more work on the Rancor. I also released Wu The Lotus Blossom mod for Rose for Street Fighter 4.
Finished the teeth of the Rancor. Discovered that you need to switch on "Alpha is Luminance" under the texture node to make black and white maps work properly in Maya.
Drew a ton of new pics. Updated the Rancor and Flak Accelerator.
I finished my second MOD for Street Fighter 4,Haggar from Final Fight.
Finished a 1 week discovery of SF4 modding for the PC. I turned Sakura into Yuri Sakazaki from the Art Of Fighting series. I finally found out how to hook up all my 6 texture maps for the Rancor and combining all 6 normal maps too. This in combination with the participating media lighting for the Rancor Dungeon is almost finishing up my R&D aspects of the Rancor project.
Drew odd fellow which I tried under lighting to give him that sinister look.
Discovered how to make "participating media" or "volumetric lighting" in Maya with mental ray. Lit up Sagat from Street Fighter as a test for the Rancor Dungeon. I started to detail the main electromagnetic coil for the Flak Accelerator. Updated the sculpts for Reapers Curse and moved Sagat into the Portfolio section. Good times. :-)
Finished the Zbrush sculpt of Sagat from Street Fighter. I lit him in Maya.
Donkun Yoon updated the animation of the Rancor. Check out the animation test.
Sculpted a bit more on Sagat.
Finished the back hand grip of the Flak Accelerator. Took Koos Barge level from Unreal Tournament III and relit it with a golden dawn feel.
Organised the scene, parented and named all final parts for the Flak Accelerator. Any part in blue is final geo.
Did a quick paint over proxy for the side profile of the Flak Accelerator. Finished a few main details.
Finished the secondary electromagnetic flaps for the Flak Accelerator.
Updated the Flak Accelerator. Finished the front right and left flaps. Still needs a final outside detail and and final bevel.
Updated the week 1 progress of the Flak Accelerator FPS weapon. I included a small video showing the proof of concept for rigging and animation.
Started on a Sagat bust sculpt. Its getting there.
Put up a video of the Rancor walk cycle test. Starting to be promising.
Updated the Reapers Curse project. You can download it on the main site. Cleaned up all sorts of things on the site as well. Added 8 more pics to the portfolio page.
Drew Maria from Castlevania Symphony Of The Night. We are play testing and fixing the final stages of our entry for the "Make Something Unreal Contest". I will updating the site very soon with all sorts of things. Stay tuned.:-)

Finally started on the bump map in combination with the color, normal, and reflection maps on the Rancor.
Set up the normal maps to ease with texturing tests on the Rancor.
Set up the hypershade with multiple UVs and all textures maps for the Rancor. Did a quick 30 sec pose with final gather and a key light with the color map. I see things working.:-)
Started to get my feet wet with the Rancor and texturing. Finished my first pass accross all 8 UV maps.

Finalized the zbrush sculpt of the Rancor. Its a level where it will work for the project. The Uvs are done and the rendermaps are near complete. Texturing to come soon.
Finished the UV Unwrapping for the Rancor. Got like 15% left to sculpt.
Started on the alpha detailing on the Rancor got most of the shoulders and neck done.
Drew a picture of a girl which I've entitled Chomagui which is the top knot style in Japanese.
Put the Rancor into Zbrush and finalized the arm and shoulder proportions. Started the shell and shoulder area.
Finally got the scale of the Rancor set by using the UT3 guy I started a while back. Got the shaders in UT3 working for the Stone Skin and the effect it makes on the weapons and character. Started on the HUD today.
Tweaked the Stone Skin shaders in UT3. The UT base has a strong down up light source which is giving an odd look to it.
Got the Stone Skin in UT3. Still playing around with the shaders and effects. Final look pending.
Updated the Stone Skin. The Color, Normal and Spec maps are done for now. Need to put it into UT3 before I can know if its really done. I put up the texture maps too.

Sculpted the Rancor for a total of 31 hours so far. Worked on the shell finally.Finshed the sculpt and retopologized the StoneSkin geo and got the normal map working.

Sculpted some more on the Stone Skin Relic pickup item for Unreal Tournament III.
